Why can't I get to my ideal weight?

I have been asked a lot to share about this topic. We all know that achieving a healthy weight is a frequent problem in today's society. There is a large number of people who strive to shed unwanted pounds and maintain a healthy body.

It is important to approach weight loss with a balanced and holistic perspective, both physically and mentally.

Many people think that exercise is enough to achieve your goal, but I am afraid that this is not the case, since it is essential to adopt a healthy eating plan of balanced meals. It's not about starving yourself but properly fueling your body and supporting weight loss.

A healthy eating plan can include incorporating plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains into the diet while minimizing processed and sugar foods.

Now, regular and intelligent physical activity play an important role in weight loss, since it helps to increase metabolism and build muscle mass.

The role of the mind in weight control

Achieving your ideal weight requires a positive mental attitude and realistic goals. It is crucial to remember that weight loss is a gradual process that requires patience and determination. Unrealistic expectations can lead to frustration and abandonment of both diet and exercise.

It's important to be able to measure progress and focus on small victories, like wearing smaller size clothes or being able to perform an activity that was previously impossible.

I strongly recommend:

  • Nowadays, you can find various devices that can indicate your level of body fat.

  • Every small achievement can increase motivation and keep people on track.

  • Setting realistic goals, both short-term and long-term, helps maintain a sense of direction and holds people accountable.

  • Support and finding a balance in life are important factors in a successful weight loss process. I invite you to surround yourself with positive and supportive friends, family or even joining a weight loss community can provide encouragement and motivation.

  • Enjoying hobbies, getting enough sleep, and managing stress levels can help prevent emotional eating or slipping back into unhealthy habits.

  • Taking care of mental and emotional well-being is crucial.

Weight control is a lifelong journey. Creating healthy habits and finding emotional balance are essential for long-term success.

I have been blessed helping people who needed to find an emotional balance and overcome habits that prevented them from achieving their goal of exercising, eating well by choice, and not suffering from anxiety attacks that are quiet common people on a diet. As we have stated before:

In a battle between emotions and intelligence, emotion will always win.

Take the first step, schedule an informative call with no obligation, and dare to change your life!
